Dizzy’s Gypsy Bistro – 200 River Market Ave. Ste. 150, Little Rock, Arkansas
If you find yourself in Little Rock, you must eat at Dizzy’s Gypsy Bistro – it really is that good! Dizzy’s is an independently owned restaurant in the River Market district and they have a great eclectic atmosphere with the best cheese dip (it’s award-winning) and the best Philly cheesesteak I’ve ever eaten.
The black walls/ceiling paired with the bright table settings, chandeliers, art, and music from the 60’s to 90’s make the atmosphere really fun, but still nice for intimate conversation.

Their cheese dip is bechemel-based with three cheeses, four pepper varieties and salsa, topped with pico de gallo, sour cream, and scallions. Their Philly Cheesesteak (which was the day’s special) was topped with alfredo sauce, fresh tomatoes and lettuce on a brioche bun. I was slightly skeptical about the alfredo sauce, but it really made the dish! Just looking at these pictures makes me want to drive the five hours to get back there!
